The Gold Rush intercollegiate women's golf tournament scheduled this week in Seal Beach, CA has been cancelled due to inclement weather. That cancellation prevents the Portland State Vikings from opening their spring season. Heavy rains in southern California over the past week have left the Old Ranch Country Club, the scheduled site of the tournament, under water. Portland State is not scheduled to compete again until Mar. 1-2 at the Fresno State Lexus Classic.
