Twenty-one Portland State student-athletes earned Big Sky Academic All-Conference honors for spring sports. Those sports included men's and women's tennis, men's and women's track and field and women's golf.
The Big Sky Conference honors all athletes who maintain at least a 3.20 GPA and compete in half of the team's competitions. With the 21 Academic All-Conference selections in the spring, Portland State concludes the year with 87 student-athlete academic honors (including softball and wrestling as affiliate members in other conferences).
The National Golf Coaches Association also announced its All-American Scholar team this week. Sophomore Aubrey Vaughn was named to that team for the second year in a row. That team requires a GPA of 3.50 or higher.
