2006-07 • JUNIOR SEASON A key addition to the team as he started 22 of 32 games... ranked fourth on the team in scoring (10.7) and second in rebounding (5.6)... was 24th in the league in scoring, 12th in rebounding and fourth in field goal percentage (.585)... his shooting mark was sixth-best in school history... led the team in scoring five times, in rebounding nine times and assists five times... had 20 double-figure scoring games and three 20-point games... also had two double-doubles and 14 dunks... shot 50% or better in 27 games... scored 23 points with eight rebounds in a win at Eastern Washington (2/10)... had 18 points and 18 rebounds in a win over Idaho State (2/24)... it was the most rebounds by a Viking since PSU reinstated the basketball program in 1996-97... had 23 points and 10 rebounds in a win over Sacramento State (2/22)... was named Big Sky Conference Player of the Week following those two games... averaged 19.0 points, 7.5 rebounds and shot .667 from the field in the Vikings’ two Big Sky Tournament games and was named to the All-Tournament team... despite not starting the last six games of the year, he averaged 18.2 points, 9.0 rebounds and shot a remarkable .690 from the field.
PREVIOUS TO PORTLAND STATE Played the past two seasons at Antelope Valley Junior College... last year led his team in scoring (23.2), rebounding (7.4), assists (3.7) and steals (2.0)... shot a remarkable 286 free throws (10 per game)... a broken wrist caused him to miss three games, but he scored 43 points in his first game back... ranked fourth among California JC players in scoring... named first team All-Foothill Conference twice... selected as his team’s Most Valuable Player both seasons.
Lettered in basketball three times at Lancaster High School where he was twice named All-Golden League... had 28 points and 11 rebounds in the 2004 Antelope Valley All-Star game... also lettered in volleyball.
