    Continues to get better as his career unfolds... should be one of the best in the Big Sky Conference this season... comes off another successful campaign this past summer with the Canadian National Development team... had 15 points and 13 rebounds in leading his team to a bronze medal win over Japan in the World University Games in Thailand... also played on the 2005 Canadian National Development Team that competed at the World University Games in Turkey...opponents feel his presence on both ends of the floor as he is also an accomplished shot blocker... holds all of Portland State’s shot-blocking records: career (134), season (70), game (6)... the team is 42-27 in games he has started... on pace to be the 16th Viking in history to score 1,000 career points... should climb into the all-time top 10 in rebounding as well...  improved in a lot of areas from the quality experience and competition.

2006-07 • JUNIOR SEASON
    Played in all 32 games, starting 28 and averaging a career-best 24.6 minutes... averaged 11.2 points and a team-leading 6.5 rebounds... had a Big Sky-best 70 blocked shots, setting a new Portland State season record... also ranked 20th in scoring, sixth in rebounding and fifth in field goal percentage in the Big Sky... was an honorable mention All-Big Sky Conference selection... also smashed the PSU career record for blocks with 134 and counting... shot an excellent .569 from the field, including 24 dunks... that mark ranks eighth-best in school history... his career shooting percentage of .530 ranks fourth all-time... tied another PSU record with six blocked shots in the game at Weber State (1/10)... led the team in scoring four times and rebounding 15 times... had 20 double-figure scoring games and four double figure rebounding games... posted three double-doubles... named to the Basketball Travelers Classic All-Tournament team after averaging 13.7 points, 5.7 rebounds and shooting .722 in three games... had his first double-double with 15 points and 14 rebounds against Evergreen State (11/20)... named Big Sky Conference Player of the Week on Nov. 21 after wins over Evergreen State and Arizona State (11/18, 16 points, eight rebounds)... posted 16 points and 10 rebounds  in the win over Utah Valley State (12/2)... scored 17 points with 10 rebounds in a home win over Montana State (12/30)... despite not starting the last four games of the year, he averaged 10.5 points, 7.5 rebounds, 3.3 blocks, and shot  .615 from the field.
 
2005-06 • SOPHOMORE SEASON
    Improved his game to average 9.3 points, 5.3 rebounds and block 35 shots on the season... the team leader in rebounding and blocked shots, he ranked 11th in the Big Sky in rebounding and fourth in blocks (1.3 per game)... played 22 minutes per game, starting 16 of 27 contests... his 35 blocked shots ranked second all-time for a season... led the team in scoring five times and rebounding seven times... had 13 double-figure scoring games, three double-figure rebounding games and posted one double-double... also had 18 dunks... earned Big Sky Conference Player of the Week honors on Jan. 2 following the Vikings’ wins at Oregon and at home against Idaho... hit 6-7 FGs for 15 points and six rebounds in the win over Oregon (12/27)... then he had 10 points and seven rebounds in a blowout victory over Idaho (12/30)... set a new career-high with 11 rebounds to go with 13 points and four blocks in a win at Idaho State (2/16)... scored a season-high 19 points against Lewis and Clark (12/16)... tied his career high with four blocked shots against Arkansas (11/18) and Idaho State (2/16)... averaged 11.8 points and shot .524 in Viking wins, 7.3 points and .376 in Viking losses.

2004-05 • FRESHMAN SEASON
    May have been the biggest surprise of the season... although he was expected to contribute, probably not to the level he did... was one of the best freshmen in the Big Sky Conference, starting 26 of the 28 games he played... averaged 19.0 minutes, scoring 5.5 points, with 4.6 rebounds and 29 blocked shots... also shot .588 from the field - just shy of the school record of .592, set by Seamus Boxley...  in conference play  he averaged nearly 20 minutes, scoring 5.2 points, with 4.7 rebounds and 21 blocked shots... led the team in scoring once and rebounding six times... was third on the team in rebounding and second in blocked shots... ranked fourth in the Big Sky in blocked shots and 13th in rebounding... had a season-high 22 points (8-9 FG, 6-7 FT) in 22 minutes of a win over Maryland-Eastern Shore (12/29)... scored 16 points (6-8 FG, 4-4 FT) with eight rebounds in a win over Tennessee-Martin (12/18)... had a season-high nine rebounds three different times... posted a season-high four blocked shots at Montana (2/26)... had 18 dunks on the season.

PREVIOUS TO PORTLAND STATE
    Comes from a very successful Secondary School career in Canada where he was one of the top players in his Province... led his Argyle Secondary team to the British Columbia Provincial Championship in 2004... had 17 points, 15 rebounds and four blocked shots in the title game... was named MVP of the tournament... averaged 20 points, 15 rebounds and four blocks per game, while shooting 60%... a two-time Howe Sound All-Star... was a Provincial Finals 1st team All-Star... recruited by Washington State, Idaho State, Santa Clara and Wisconsin-Green Bay.

PERSONAL INFORMATION
    Born January 3, 1986... son of Marcy Granholm and Alex Morrison... has a brother, Steve... majors in Business and Public Health... hobbies are snowboarding and wakeboarding... selected Portland State because of its close proximity to his home in Canada, the strong School of Business, and the team atmosphere... competed for Canada in the World University Games in 2005 and 2007, being one of the top 12 college-age players from the nation to play.
