A very quick and determined player who can shoot, pass and dribble the ball as well as anyone in the Big Sky Conference.... took over as the team’s point guard last year and has led it to the two best seasons in school history... came off about as good a season as imaginable and performed to a very similar standard this year... received a lot more attention from opponents going into every game this year... was a redshirt in 2006-07 due to NCAA transfer rules... ranks third all-time at PSU in three-point field goals made (173), third in three point percentage (.433) and tenth in assists (229)... holds the top two three-point shooting seasons in school history: 89 this year and 84 last year.

2008-09 • SENIOR SEASON
     Became a back-to-back All-Big Sky Conference first team selection... the team leader again this year, leading the Vikings in scoring (12.9), assists (3.2), three-point field goals (89) and steals (53)... leads the Big Sky in three-pointers made while ranking in the top 10 in scoring, assists, steals, and three-point percentage... his 89 threes are a new school record, breaking his mark of 84 last year... shot .436 from three-point range and .725 at the line... his 53 steals rank fourth in a season in PSU history... led the team in scoring nine times and assists 10 times... had 18 double-figure scoring games and eight 20-point games... named Big Sky Conference Player of the Week after scoring 24 points (7-12 FG, 4-6 3-pt FG, 6-9 FT) with four rebounds, four assists and no turnovers in a season-opening win at Rice (11/15)... scored 23 points (7-15 FG, 5-9 3-pt FG, 4-6) in a big win over crosstown rival Portland (11/18)... a chip fracture in his finger from that game hindered his play for the next four contests... he then sat out two games before returning to play... had a 22-point game (8-16 FG, 6-12 3-pt FG) at Cal Poly (12/17)... posted a season-high 25 points with a career-high seven three-pointers, six rebounds and five assists in the biggest win in school history over #7 Gonzaga (12/23)... hit 8-12 from the field, 7-10 from three-point range and 2-2 at the line... followed that with 15 points and six steals in a win at Texas Southern (12/27)... earned Big Sky Conference Player of the Week honors for his performance in those two games... scored 22 points (8-16 FG, 5-9 3-pt FG, 1-2 FT) with a career-high seven rebounds, four assists and three steals in the four-overtime win at Northern Arizona (1/4)... had 15 points, a career-high 11 assists and four steals in a home win over Northern Arizona (2/5)... logged a 24-point game (8-15 FG, 6-11 3-pt FG, 2-2 FT) in a loss at Weber State (2/14)... scored 22 points (7-13 FG, 4-9 3-pt FG, 4-4 FT) with eight assists in the ESPNU BracketBuster game win over Boise State (2/21)... hit a three-pointer at the buzzer to beat Northern Colorado, 77-74, (2/19)... named a preseason mid-major All-American by collegeinsider.com... Postseason: Named Big Sky Tournament MVP after scoring 22 points (8-13 FG, 3-5 3-pt FG, 3-5 FT) with five assists, three steals and three rebounds in the championship win over Montana State (3/11)... had 10 points and four assists in the semifinal win over Idaho State (3/10)... scored 13 points (5-9 FG, 2-5 3-pt FG, 1-4 FT) with four rebounds and two assists in 32 minutes against Xavier in the NCAA Tournament.

2007-08 • JUNIOR SEASON
     Took the Big Sky Conference by storm in his first season, earning League Player of the Year and Newcomer of the Year honors... averaged 14.2 points, 2.1 rebounds, 4.1 assists and 1.9 steals per game... shot .471 from the field, .433 from three-point range and .813 at the line... led the Big Sky in steals and three-point field goals (84)... his three-pointers are a new record for a season at PSU... his 62 steals and .433 three-point percentage both rank second-best all-time in a season at Portland State... ranked third in the Big Sky in scoring and assists... in league play his averages went up to 16.0 ppg, 2.6 rpg, 4.8 apg, .491 shooting, .451 three-point shooting and .868 free throw shooting... during Portland State’s 12-game Big Sky winning streak t oconclude the season, he averaged 19.2 points, 4.8 assists, shot 51% from the field, 48% from three-point range and 89% at the line... had 22 double-figure scoring games and seven 20+ scoring games... led the team in scoring 12 times and assists 19 times... made the game-winning basket against IUPUI with 4.5 seconds remaining at the Top of the World Classic (11/16)... shot 60% from the field in the three games at the Top of the World and was named All-Tournament... scored 19 points, with nine of those in overtime, in leading the Vikings to a 60-53 win over Utah Valley (12/1). He also had three assists, three rebounds and three steals... had a 27-point game (9-16 FG, 6-9 3-pt FG, 3-4 FT) against San Jose State (12/28) along with four assists, three rebounds, two steals and no turnovers... scored 22 points with five assists and three steals in an 85-83 overtime win against Northern Colorado (1/19), scoring 10 points in the last 2:26 of overtime... made two free throws with 5.7 seconds left to lift the Vikings to a 70-68 win over Montana (1/31). He scored 19 of his game-high 26 points (7-13 FG, 8-8 FT) in the second half... another big second half led to a career-high 28 points in the win over Montana State (2/2). He scored 26 after intermission and added five steals, hitting 9-14 from the field, 4-6 from three-point range, 6-6 at the line... scored the last eight Viking points, including 6-6 at the line in the final 30 seconds, turning a 68-68 tie into a 76-73 win over Weber State (2/16)... in the season’s final three regular season games, he averaged 21 points, shooting 21-31 from the field and 14-20 from three-point range... was twice named Big Sky Conference Player of the Week... Postseason: Named to the Big Sky All-Tournament team after leading the team to two wins... scored 16 points with three assists and three steals in the victory over Idaho State... had nine points, six assists and four steals in the championship game win over Northern Arizona... scored a team-high 13 points with four assists against Kansas in the NCAA Tournament.

PREVIOUS TO PORTLAND STATE
    Played two seasons at the University of Portland, competing in 58 games and starting four times... as a freshman in 2004-05, he averaged 4.4 points, had 50 assists and 32 steals in 16.2 minutes per game... as a sophomore in 2005-06, played 13.4 minutes per contest, averaging 3.3 points, with 36 assists and 33 steals... had a career-high 21 points against Cal Poly as a freshman... scored 12 points with five assists in a win over Portland State on Dec. 4, 2004... had a career-high seven assists against Idaho State on Jan. 2, 2005.
    A three-year letterwinner at South Salem High School... led his team to the 2004 Oregon 4A State Championship, averaging 22.3 points and 6.0 assists per game... was the Oregonian’s State Player of the Year... a two-time Valley League Player of the Year.. averaged 21.4 points as a senior as his team went 18-0 in league play, 27-2 overall.
