EUGENE, Ore. –
Zach Carpenter paced the Vikings in the men's 8,000-meter run while
Amber Rozcicha led the Vikings in the women's 5,000 Saturday morning at the Sixth Annual Bill Dellinger Invitational.
Rozcicha finished 44th in the women's 5,000 on Saturday morning with a time of 17:53.78 to pace the Vikings.
Brandy Castillo finished 83rd while
Brittany Castillo finised 87th. The two finished with times of 18:59.79 and 19:15.12 respectively.
Keikoanne Hollins wrapped up the competition for the women with a time of 19:21.36.
Carpenter was again the top finisher in the men's race with a 49th place finish. He finished with a time of 24:58.15.
Cary Dunagan and
William Ferguson finished 71st and 72nd overall with times of 26:23.22 and 26:31.01.
The Vikings will be back in the Portland Area Saturday, Oct. 8 when they take part in the Rose City Invitational hosted by the University of Portland.
