The Portland State football program has made a time change to the season-opening game against Southern Oregon at JELD-WEN Field. The Vikings and Raiders will meet on Sept. 3 for the first collegiate football game at the newly-refurbished stadium. Game time is now set at 1:05 p.m. after originally being 5:05 p.m.

Portland State has six home games this year as it returns to the new-look JELD-WEN Field. PSU hosts Southern Oregon on Sept. 3 (1:05 p.m.), Northern Arizona in the Big Sky Conference opener on Sept. 17 (5:05 p.m.), defending Big Sky Conference co-champion Montana State on Oct. 8 (1:05 p.m.), Willamette on Oct. 22 (5:05 p.m.), Sacramento State on Nov. 5 (1:05 p.m.) and Weber State on Nov. 19 (1:05 p.m.).
