Cherry & Silver Invitational Rewind
The Vikings are coming off a successful outing in New Mexico at the Cherry & Silver Invitational last weekend. No group had more success than the women's sprints squad, particularly in the 200-meters. Ten sprinters set season bests at the event with seven either improving on or setting qualifying times for the Big Sky Indoor Track Championships later this season.

The Vikings have five of the top-10 women's 200-meter marks in the conference this season with Karene King leading the way. King breezed to a second place overall finish in the event last weekend with at time of 24.08. She is just 0.06 second off her Portland State record for the event and will be looking to break that and move closer to the conference record of 23.85.

On the men's side, Jake Ovgard set personal bests in the 60-meter dash and the 200-meters while Luke Leddige set a season best in the 60-meter hurdles. Sean Mackelvie set personal bests in the long and triple jump events.
