SPRING FOOTBALL PRACTICE DATES RELEASED
The Portland State football program has set its 2012 spring practice schedule. The Vikings will practice 14 times beginning on April 9, leading up to the annual spring game on May 12. All practice times are tentatively scheduled for 1:30-4 p.m. at Stott Community Field. The spring game site and time are yet to be determined.
The Vikings are coming off a 7-4 season, their best performance since 2006. PSU was 5-3 in the Big Sky Conference, tying for third place. The Vikings have 52 returning letterwinners and 13 returning starters. As many as 23 redshirts, gray shirts and squad members also return. The Vikings are likely to have five National Letter of Intent signees as well, giving them as many as 80 players available for spring ball.

2012 EVERGREEN CAPITAL MANAGEMENT VIKING COACHES OPEN
The 2012 Evergreen Capital Management Viking Coaches Open will be held on Friday, May 11 at noon at The Reserve Vineyards & Golf Club in Aloha. Proceeds from this event benefit the student-athletes associated with the Portland State football program.
Register no later than Thursday, March 15th to take advantage of the early bird special rates of $650 for a foursome or $175 for an individual ($700 for a foursome & $195 for an individual thereafter). Entry includes 18 holes of golf, lunch, dinner & $50 of credit toward products at the Nike mobile golf store.

VIKING CLUB FOR FOOTBALL ALUMNI
PSU Football Alumni are invited to join the Viking Club. This organization of former players meets with Head Coach
Nigel Burton and other members of the PSU coaching staff on a bi-monthly basis to discuss the past, present and future of PSU Football. The cost to join is $10 a month ($120 annually) and the benefits include:
• Invitation to the Viking Signing Day Party on National Letter of Intent Day
• Participation in the annual alumni flag football game in May
• Complementary ticket to the team BBQ in August
• Field access at the final regular season home game to form the "Viking Tunnel" & honor the current PSU Viking seniors as they are introduced
