Biography

A solid post-up presence with a big, strong body... a very good athlete who can run well... also can step out and hit a mid-range jump shot... attended the same junior college that produced Viking great Ime Udoka... was coached by current Viking assistant Anthony Owens at CEU.

SENIOR SEASON • 2010-11
A hugely improved player over his junior year… became the Vikings' post-up threat… played in all 30 games, starting 16… took over as a starter midway through the season… averaged 9.7 points, 3.2 rebounds in 21 minutes per game… shot .498 from the field and .804 at the line… led the team in free throw percentage… averaged 12.4 points, shooting .520 from the field over the second half of the season… averaged 11.4 points and shot .508 in Big Sky Conference games... led the team in scoring in two games… had 12 double-figure scoring games… scored 13 points in the season-opening win over Pepperdine (11/12)... posted 18 points (7-10 FG, 4-6 FT) and four rebounds at Montana (1/15)... posted 13 points (5-7 FG, 3-5 FT) and four rebounds in the win over Weber State (1/20)... went for a career-high 29 points (9-16 FG, 11-13 FT) in the win over Sacramento State on (1/29) - the most points scored by a Viking in 49 games... scored 13 points (4-7 FG, 5-5 FT) at Northern Colorado (2/5)... scored 14 points (5-9 FG, 4-5 FT) against Idaho State (2/10)... posted 14 points (6-8 FG, 2-3 FT) with four rebounds in the win over Loyola Marymount (2/19)... scored 14 points with a career-high seven rebounds and two blocks in the win over Montana State (2/26).

JUNIOR SEASON • 2009-10
Played in 25 games averaging 7.4 minutes per game... averaged 3.1 points, 1.2 rebounds and shot .489 from the field and .739 at the line... posted a season-high 12 points (2-4 FG, 8-8 FT) with two blocked shots at Seattle (3/2)... scored eight points at Montana (1/9)... had six points and a season-high four rebounds in a win over Linfield (12/9)... Postseason: Played 14 minutes, scoring two points with one rebound and one assist in the quarterfinal win over Montana State (3/6)... played four minutes in the semifinal loss to Weber State (3/9), scoring two points.

PREVIOUS TO PORTLAND STATE
Played two seasons at College of Eastern Utah where he came on very strong at the end of the year, earning Scenic West Athletic Conference All-Tournament honors as a sophomore... was his team’s third-leading scorer, averaging 9.3 points and 3.6 rebounds in just under 17 minutes per game... shot .558 from the field and .707 at the line... the Eagles went 25-7 on the year reaching the SWAC tournament championship game... originally signed with Idaho out of high school and played there briefly before transferring to CEU.
    
Played at San Leandro (CA) High School where he averaged 16.4 points and 7.8 rebounds per game as a senior, shooting nearly 70% from the floor... named first team All-Hayward Area Athletic League and ranked second in the league in scoring... led his team in scoring and was team MVP... earned scholar-athlete honors.
