• Two-time Big Sky Conference Golfer of the Week (Sept. 14, Sept. 28)

2011-12 • SENIOR SEASON
Came within a stroke of winning the Big Sky Conference Championship, shooting a career-best two-under par 75-68-71=214... earned All-Big Sky Tournament honors... her tie for second was her fourth top five of the season... the round of 68 also set a career-best and ranks second-best all-time at Portland State... it was one of just five sub-par tournament performances in PSU history... named first team All-Big Sky Conference for the second straight season... completed the season making all 10 starts and compiling a 76.48 scoring average, just a fraction higher than her junior season... ranked second on the team in scoring and shot the team's season-best score (214)... scoring average was sixth-best in school history... her career scoring average of 76.77 ranks second-best in school history... led the team in scoring in six of 10 tournaments, and 11 of 30 tournaments overall... had four sub-par rounds for the season and seven in her career... placed third at the season-opening Circling Raven Collegiate Invitational with 74-78-70=222... tied for fourth at the Rose City Collegiate, firing 74-78-72=224... was named Big Sky Conference Player of the Week after each event... a steady player, who had 23 of 29 rounds in the 60s or 70s... last 11 rounds were 79 or better... had 13 top 10s and two wins in her career... ranked seventh in career rounds played at Portland State (86).

2010-11 • JUNIOR SEASON
Named first team All-Big Sky Conference... played excellent golf all year, competing in all 12 tournaments and 33 rounds... compiled a 76.33 scoring average to rank third on the team and fifth in the conference... won the Turtle Bay Collegiate Invitational with 73-76-69=218... tied for first in the one-round triangle tournament with Oregon State and Washington at Washington National Golf Club shooting 74... a two-time Big Sky Conference Golfer of the Week, earning honors after Turtle Bay and the UW/OSU Triangle tournaments... placed sixth at the Circling Raven Collegiate season opener with 75-69-78=222... also sixth at the Rose City Collegiate with 73-74-73=220... tied for sixth at the Wyoming Cowgirl Classic, shooting 75-74-71=220... tied for ninth at the Big Sky Championship, carding 79-74-73=226... 25 of 33 rounds were 78 or lower... became just the fourth Viking in history to shoot a pair of rounds in the 60s... her scoring average was a 1.58 stroke improvement over her sophomore season... at 76.33, her scoring average ranks third-best for a season in school history... led the team in scoring in four events during the fall... had five finishes of sixth or better... a strong student, she earned Academic All-Big Sky Conference honors.

2009-10 • SOPHOMORE SEASON
Transferred to Portland State and competed in eight tournaments during the season... her 77.75 scoring average ranked third on the team and was 10th best for a season in school history... came through big at the Big Sky Championship, tieing for sixth with 75-74-77=226... shot a season-low first-round 72 at the Wyoming Cowgirl Classic... shot 230 at the Cowgirl Classic and the UNLV Spring Invitational... was the team scoring leader at the Heather Farr/Colorado Memorial (her first event at PSU) recording 77-79-79=235... tied for 48th out of 104 players... a very consistent golfer, her scoring average was in the 70s in each of the eight tournaments she played... had 18 of 24 rounds in the 70s.
 
PREVIOUS TO PORTLAND STATE
Originally attended Oregon and competed in 2007-08... played once as an individual in the USF Invitational (35th-tie, 78-83-81=242)... did not compete in golf in 2008-09.

A four-year letterman in golf and basketball at Summit High School... finished third in Oregon 5A state championships as a senior and junior... won nine of her 11 tournaments her senior season, including district tournament... helped team win state titles in 2006 and 2007, and Intermountain Conference championships in 2005, 2006, and 2007... team captain.

PERSONAL INFORMATION
Daughter of Lynn Edwards and Randy Schoning... majoring in Arts and Letters... won the Bend Invitational in June 2009... in July 2009 qualified for match play among the top 32 in the Pacific Northwest Golf Association (PNGA) Women’s Amateur Championship in Molalla... placed 22nd overall shooting 80–81=161... reached the match-play semifinals in the 2010 Oregon Amateur Championship last June, knocking off the top-seeded player along the way... also placed 11th in the Oregon Stroke Play Championship... a nominee for the Hayward Award, recognizing the state of Oregon's top amateur athlete for 2010.
