Petitioned for an additional year of eligibility from the NCAA after missing most of two seasons with injuries... great size and power at the linebacker spot. 

SENIOR SEASON • 2015
Battled injuries again, playing in just four games... had two tackles, both against Western Oregon (9/26).

JUNIOR SEASON • 2014
Started out the season on the way to a big year... injuries short-circuited his season... played in only three games, starting twice... led the team in tackles with nine against Oregon State (8/30)... after missing three weeks came back to lead the team again with six tackles in a win over UC Davis (10/4)... had 16 tackles, two tackles for loss and a pass breakup for the season. 

PREVIOUS TO PORTLAND STATE
Played at Golden West Community College… as a sophomore had 94 tackles, 8.5 tackles for loss, one sack, four interceptions, three forced fumbles, one fumble recovery and three pass breakups… named Southern California Football Association Defensive Player of the Year… selected first team All-Region and All-American... as a freshman he had 40 tackles, two tackles for loss and two pass breakups.

Attended Lakewood High School… had 73 tackles, five sacks and a fumble recovery as a senior... earned second team All-Moore League... named team’s Hitter of the Year.

Son of Anthony and  Dametra McNichols... born May 30, 1994... has one brother, Jeremy, and one sister, Aja... would like to major in Accounting.
